Because the grinding wheel usually works at high speed, before use, it should be tested for rotation (to ensure that the grinding wheel will not break at the highest working speed) and static balance (to prevent the machine tool from vibrating when working). After working for a period of time, the grinding wheel should be trimmed to restore grinding performance and correct geometry.
